Results of the "Sledding Fun" in Winona, MN

The fun-raiser was in Nodine, MN, the last weekend in January. The Thuots, Schultzs, and Prukas gave 0.5 mile sled rides to over 200 adults and kids. This wasn't so bad until you factor in sunny, 40 degree weather; sticky snow; more adults than kids; and only 4 teams for 3 solid hours. Our dogs were great sports as usual; made lots of new friends; and received some great training and exposure. It also isn't too tough being paid for dogsledding. It was a little ironic, though, adopted rescue dogs, raising money for those to come. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
